iOS 4.0 Downgrade with Xcode

    When I try to downgrade to 3.1.2 using xcode i get an error saying the device is not Eligible for the requested software my udid is registered so i dont know why this isnt working

    Why would you be able to go to 3.1.2?
    I thought they stopped signing it?

    xcode lets you downgrade

    Just DFU Restore? It's not that hard. Downgrade then use iRecovery to boot out of recovery mode.

    If Xcode is saying you aren't eligible for that build, it means you aren't an official dev. You have to pay the 99$ before downgrading will work, along with any form of on device testing

    Put the device in DFU and restore through iTunes.

    i dont have my shsh backed up i want to downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 and i have my UDID registered so why cant i downgrade

    UDID registration was made for devs to test their apps. Only devs can downgrade, you get UDID just for the dev to send you apps, and not downgrade.
