Hey guys, i currently have an itouch running on 3.0 firmware. well, it used to be 2.2.1, and now i want to go back. can anyone tell me how to do this because when i try to restore it to 2.2.1 it just sais "can not restore ipod "ipod" because an unexpected error occured. Error 20" how do i fix this? this error is one i get from trying to downgrade to any other firmware on my itouch, so what, is there some special other way to do it or sometjin?

Dont try to restore it. DFU it.

(Home and Power to 12 seconds - Release Power and keep holding home for about another 10.)

    DFU mode will do it.

As lolwut37 said. Get iTunes 8.1 - Im pretty sure theres a DL link in the iTunes section of the forum. Uninstall iTunes 8.2 and Install 8.1
