iOS 4.0 Downgrade question

    When I tried to downgrade to 3.1.2 it says error 28 and I shift+ restore but I get an error everytime I try to do it I get a error. I tried everything can someone please help me. I have a 8gb mc model 2nd generaton ipod touch and it came 3.1.2 firmware. Pleae help

    Try this: Shut it down, force it into restore mode (search it) then do a full restore to 3.1.3 by shift clicking restore.

    He needs to get to 3.1.2 he said.

    @OP. Did you back up your 3.1.2 SHSH blobs?

    You probably need DFU Mode.

    I did not back up my shsh blobs and I put it i restore and dfu mode and neither worked

    You need SHSH blobs.
