Hello everyone. First off, I'll admit it was a pretty stupid move on my end for updating my iPod but is there anyway to downgrade back to 3.1.2? I have a 3gen iPod. Plz I really miss my jailbroken iPod

If you've got a 3rd gen 8GB you can downgrade using the 3.2.2 firmware for the iPod Touch 2nd Gen. If your're on a 32 or 64GB you can't downgrade.

There is if you were jailbroken already on 3.1.2 and backed up your ECID & SHSH but I doubt you did, so there is no way of restoring.

Think of the ECID SHSH signatures as the keys to a house, rather than as pieces of software. They're tied to the iPod's UUID, which means that each iPod has a different signature to sign off on the firmware upgrade. So no, you can't unless you've already made a copy of the key somewhere (like backing it up in Cydia or Rock).
