Just found a great article that goes step by step through the process of using the Umbrella package to downgrading your 3g idevice from 3.1.3 to the very jailbreakable 3.1.2

We've already got a perfectly good thread on it here. -å

Yeah.. this "great article" says nothing new to us.
Everyone knows that it is possible to downgrade if you have shsh saved.
But there is no way to do that if you bought device with 3.1.3 on it.

    ok

I have a ipod touch 3g 32gb. I didnt buy it as a 3.1.3 firmware. I had it jailbroken, and didn't like the tethered jailbreak. So i restored it on itunes to 3.1.3. But I want to jailbreak it again. So i was wondering is there a way to do this? I didnt save anything at all when my ipod was on 3.1.2 firmware. All i did was click restore and my ipods firmware upgraded. So the question is can i still downgrade to 3.1.2? Thanks.
