Downgrade 2.1 to 1.1.1

    Hey, Well im taking my ipod back to Apple Store because it dosen't play music because the port thingy broke anyway i wanna get rid of alll tracks of my jailbreaking my ipod how do i do that

    If i restore it wil it delete all log files?

    just restore to 1.1.4. put your ipod in dfu mode. hold power for 5 seconds, then home and power for 10 seconds, let go of power while still holding home, then let go of home when a popup on your taskbar appers saying something like "DFU iboot device" then restore in itunes. if you reesotre, then everytjing will be wiped.

    You can't downgrade to 1.1.1 or anything below 2.1.1 if it's an iPod 2G. Otherwise, see the thread in the Firmware 2.0 section about downgrading to 1.1.x from 2.0.x.
