When I double click home, I am fairly sure that pre 3.0 this would bring up a mini iPod player. This would enable me to continue listening to whatever music I was playing prior to removing my headphone.

Now, it seems that rather than the mini player opening up, I am taken to the playlist I was using.

Why has such a great function been changed? Can I get the mini player to open up even though music isn't playing?

Mate, you can change the function of the Home button in Settings... The method is this: Settings > General > Home > Select the function you want the Home button to do from three options, which are Home, Search (Spotlight), and iPod...

    Hope that helps!

    Yeah I know about that.
What I am getting at is the way that the iPod is opened. Rather than the mini player, it takes me to the full blown app. Pre 3.0 would launch the mini player which I was happy with.

This only happens if the music is playing.

If a song is paused then the full blown app will launch...

Just a question, are you using the MobileMusicPlayer flip?

That doesn't really affect anything, as I use MobileMusicPlayer Flip, and my mini player works fine on 3.0...

I think it really depends on which version of the MMP Flip is being used. Old versions from other repos had different side effects like the music results in Spotlight not working, and I believe this is another side effect. Which MMP Flip are you using?

I disabled MMP Flip, and the double click worked normally.
Cydia says I'm using 3.0, the release made for firmware 3.0..
