Upgraded to 3.0 iPT Gen 1

Now when I double click the home button for the music control window, it has music info and controls, but also the displays "Dock Connector"

Just plug in your headphones and it's all good, I guess volume control is possibly exclusive to the dock itself now?

on the 2g it shows the volume dial still. im assuming since there is not built in speaker in the 1g when there is no headphones connected there is no need to show the volume dial

Yep, that is it. Just realized there is no volume control on the now playing screen when there are not headphones plugged it.
