I tried the semi-tethered JB, and messed up my ipod.

I never ever got it to boot into normal mode it just hangs on the apple logo.

You cant have miPatch cause it messes it up.

I just tried to do the cydia fix but then my ipod froze, and I had just changed the lib file to backup name and was about to import the new lib file when it disconnected, and froze. So then my ipod wouldnt boot at all. And it wouldnt take the semi-redsnow patch and it still didnt work.

So I wound up just going back to normal.

For alot of Windows user out there wait until a fix comes or a untethered version comes.

Trust me this is not worth it at all. I had wayy less problems with the tethered version.

It's because you have Winterboard installed.

    Then don't install miPatch?
And somebody already posted a video tutorial, and a download link for a Mac-made FirmWare, that has a fully working Cydia.

Hmm, now I have the Boot Loop.
Was probably something that I installed...
Well, I'm going back to the normal tethered until somebody can find out a way to fix the normal booting.

Meh, too much confusion and problems flying around for me to get interested in the semi.
The normal tethered is just fine for me.

Yeah, I hardly ever turned off my iPod Touch when I got it.
I only turned it off once in a while when I went to sleep.

But yeah, don't do the Semi unless you know what you're doing. Lol.

No I never had Winterboard installed.

And yes, there are just way to many problems with the semi right now.
