I've been working at this jailbreak since this morning, and I finally have it up and working. I'm a complete noob when it comes to technical stuff, but working hard at this jailbreak today made me learn a lot of new things.

Again, don't give up. Ask questions! It's well worth it.

I dont like the thought of DFU mode, and recovery mode. I am scared of being / getting Bricked, cuz that's just my luck!!!!!!!

I got all the files n sh*t, but I dont know about putting my ipod touch in DFU, then the screen is all black, and i dont know how to reverse it, god damn it, but i want the benefits of a jailbreak, maybe i am just a p*ssy, damn it, and sorry for run on sentence!!!

yeah. I am pretty fluent with irecovery now when it comes to this, when all i did was peek inside the shell and iboot and stuff.

hey dan. The only way you can possibly become bricked, is if you either disconnect the ipod during hte restore tot he custom firmware, or if you type the command "bdev" im pretty sure bdev completely erases the boot rom lol

ok, no matter what. your ipod is most likely not actually bricked. all you gotta do is hold the home and sleep/wake button for about 15 secs or so then wait.
