    hi,

i got an 8gb ipod touch with 1.1.4 update.

i jailbreaked it, now i have version 1.1.4 with no mail, maps n notes icons on the desktop.

so i thought theyre gone.. so i think of reinstalling them manually.

installed bsd subsystem and open ssh and established a connection using cyperduck

turns out in the application folder of the ipod there are those apps..

question is .. how do i get the icons back and how do i expand my desktop?

    if anyone can help
please im too old for that

    Expand your desktop?

And iPhone apps shouldn't be present by default on an iPod Touch, you should get them manually.

    thx for the fast support

    they were there

    ahhh i remember...

i jailbroke it to see that the internetconnection refused to work

i recovered it. then i found the clear nvram trick so i jailbreaked it again and did the clearing.

i think it was the moment i finished the bsd subsystem installation when all the icons were spread from the sceen with the ...wait a sec wheel... in the middle of the screen and then turned back whithout the iphone apps.

my thought was ok . theyre gone to a noter desktop.
but summerboard gives me less options (only those for theme and wallpaper) and says summerboard 3.2(inactive)
