I want to throw this idea at you guys...

    Idea for dongle

Could i create one with these materials

    - A flash drive
-A wire in which you can connect a usb into both ends (Lets call this wire A)
    - An ipod wire (Lets call this wire B)
    - An Ipod touch

So basically can i connect my flash drive to one end of wire A,
Wire B to the other end of the wire A, and finally the ipod to the
    end of wire B

THen can i somehow deliver the payload???

No, it would be more work then just that.

Something has to send redsn0w to the jailbroken ipod touch.

How would it send the commands? Something in the flash drive would have to know the correct timing, and be able to actually send it, as a flash drive by itself is pretty much nothing. And how would it get power?

And I would be expecting something more clean, in one package, and not have to carry around two wires and a USB Drive.

no you would need an actual board that would have the payload on it, and be able to recognize dfu mode. the hardware specifications for this are somewhere. you can find them pretty easy.

I don't think that the usb drive can run code. It's just storage.

You also have to have the board send the payload over also.

Hell. Just get an Archos 5 (kinda defeats the purpose of having an iPod Touch, I know). It has a USB port, and can be modded to run linux, so you can boot it.
