    Hi Guys,

    I have a 8GB iPod Toucg 2g (MC) with 3.1.3.
And i want to restore it.
When i click on restore will it update to 4.1?
Can i just shift+restore and select the 3.1.3 FW and will it install? or DO i have to upgrade to 4.1? Because i don;t want to, it's very slow and not worth it.

    Thanks,

No, you can restore to 3.1.3 or 3.1.2 using the 2g ipsw. Or you could upgrade to 4.1 and JB with redsn0w. If I were you, I would just upgrade. Either way, follow the quide in my sig.

I dont know it this well help with MC Model, but this worked on MB Model. This what i did:

    -Download sn0wbreeze 2.0.2

    -Select 3.1.3 IPSW

-Pass whatever options you dont want, but you can change boot & recovery logo if you like

-Build IPSW. Wait until snowbreeze is finished.

-Connect your iTouch and hold the home button until the restore mode comes up

-Open up iTunes, and the restore, hold shift and choose the custom IPSW that you made

-Wait until the IPSW is successfully Restored.

Before doing this, is your iTouch 3G?
