I have tried to ssh on my ipod using the regular settings and I could not get authorized even by using the default root and alpine. I have tried to reinstall openssh many times and nothing worked. So if anyone has a bright idea you may come forth.

You go to settings>wi-fi>tap the blue arrow next to your wireless network>ip address. That one right? Yea I'm using that one and it gives me access denied.

Also I can't change the password if I don't have terminal and if I can't ssh.
