Do you have a 1st gen/2nd gen/3rd gen? Sorry but your profile says you don't have one

Yea mine does when I play 3D or memory intense games..
the 1st gen was known for heating up, my 2nd gen was ok, only sometimes and my 3rd gen I dont really have any problems with.

Also, it may get a bit hotter depending on the case you're using. More info would definitely help.

I wish there was a way for us to know how warm it's getting. It'll get a little warm if you're using a lot of battery power on something, but shouldn't get that warm. If you have an Apple store nearby I would have them take a gander at it. I think someone mentioned that, but it's the best option if you're unsure whether or not it's supposed to be like that. Good luck with it bro.

My bottom does get a little warm when charging, but never too hot to touch. I would let Apple look at it if its too hot to touch
