Does the update to 2.0 mean we have to restore the iPod + Pay for the update?

    It says it all in the title, but ive seen a lot of different stuff, so does anyone have real answers for these 2 questions?

    And no you pay $9.95 for the update which will include the January update...search the forum its been posted before

    Yes and yes. Just sync your iPod before updating, then resync the backup and you won't loose any stuff.

    Never even thought of this, so any music I have on my IPOD would be removed by installing the new firmware? I have loads of music/films on there that isn't on my ITunes Library???

    Does who have dome JB will need to restore :> Does who have clean non-JB software don't need to ;p
