    Howdy folks.

I have Jailbreak'd my 16GB iPod touch using the one click web method (http://jailbreakme.com/). This appeared to have worked, since it installed the installer app which I can use to add new apps (like NES) successfully.

However, when I try to access my iPod via SFTP (using WinSCP), it fails ("Connection Refused"). I am logging in with root/alpine, using my iPod's IP (which I can ping successfully.) on port 22.

    My firmware is v1.1.1

Is there something else I need to do to activate FTP?

No It doesnt, but you can add other sources with Installer and then install the SSH client

Thanks for your response. I was able to install it after installing "Community Sources" through the install.app/AppTap/whatever it's called.

    Works very well too!

the one that I used did. I used the slovix one (the pc jailbreaks couln't find my ipod). But, you have to install summerboard via installer, which isn't an issue.

i guess Im stuck again actually... When I SSH into my touch, my root menu does not have the "media_syn" folder...

This begs the question then, where do I install my maps.app and mail.app files?

    Any help is apprciated.
