DOES THE IPOD SUPPORT 802.11n?

    i only see a thread on 802.11x not on 802.11n
    DOES THE IPOD SUPPORT 802.11n?
    bec. i might get that router

    I'm pretty sure n is backwards compatible, so it should work.

    no the touch doesn't support 802.11n but N routers support G and B connections

    so you mean that we can't use the b/g on a n router but the n can connect to a b/g router?

    The 802.11n isn't compatible with iPod/iPhone,

    Right, all routers with N standart can be modified with the configuration of network.
    Can be:
    A N Router
    A B/G Mixed Router
    A G Router
    A B Router

    the touch can not connect to a "N" only network. However, N routers will allow B and G clients to connect to it if the router is set to mixed mode.



    therefore, the touch will connect to an N router provided the router is set to mixed mode but not at N speeds
