I am thinking of buying motorola S9 bluetooth headphones, and i am wondering can i just use the headphones with bluetooth turned on in the services application (on jailbroken ipod 1.1.1 firmware) , or do i still need the adaptor that plugs into the ipod?

the iPod Touch DOES NOT have BlueTooth...

You need the adapter to use the Headphones.
