I read somewhere that the connection keeps disconnecting after every 3 minutes or so. Is this true? Also what does the demo of iBluever do?

Is there any way around this, or a different (free) method of tethering?

I'm pretty sure, you can get an app from Cydia, called MyWi (or PdaNET), and that will allow you to create a wireless hotspot, and then you can allow your blackberry to connect to that wireless hotspot, and there you have internet!

But I heard that uses Wifi, which drains your battery quick.

Well, I'm not sure what else you can try, but I've personally used PdaNet with my computer and it was fantastic. I'm pretty sure you have to buy iBluever...

Maybe: http://ibluever.blogspot.com/ will give you something that will help you?

im not sure, i just went ahead and bought the "pro" version, totally worth the $5, best app i have.
but im assuming the "demo" will let you connect just not use data...(so you could test if it works) but idk. and tmobile i think is
    access point = wap.voicestream.com OR internet2.voicestream.com

everything else should be the same...
