Does setting the screen to "White on black" drain battery?

    Hey.

I just picked up a 3G ipt 32 GB yesterday, and I love it 10x more than my 2G ipt. A funny thing is that now instead of using themes with Winterboard, I just set the screen to white on black by triple clicking the home button.

Anyways - Does it drain more battery life when it's on the white on black screen setting?

    Thanks.

Why would it? It just changes the color of everything.

Well, white takes more energy to display than black, so yes, theoretically it would probably run down your batter faster.

Yes it will, since it uses the new OpenGL 2.0 capabilities in the GPU. White also takes more power.
