Does Restoring....

    does it clean the ipod to where it is not jailbroken any more... i cannot update or restore from my computer, i keep getting an error message saying that i am not connected to the internet... when clearly i am. i have a jailbroken 1.1.1 , and would like to get it jailbroken to 1.1.2 and i cant do this because it will not update, can someone please help me. THank U

    Yes, unfortunately, it does. Really, I don't see the point in updating, as there are ways to add in the Calendar Adding feature.

    If you decide to restore, save some of your files that you want using SFTP (such as WinSCP) and then restore, then jailbreak the new iPod. Then just paste the old apps into your iPod.
