you can put all your apps into the custom firmware, so when you restore, you have everything

Correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't used it yet

And why is it that you want to Pwn? Are you on Windows or Mac OS X?

    1.1.4 or 2.0?

In any case, you'll have to erase everything since its going to restore. Just make a list of all that you have or SSH and make copies.

But that is IF you restore the Custom Firmware.

You can Pwn your device to install Custom Firmware and that'll do nothing to your current Data.
