Does jailbreaking can steel your itunes account? just wondering that maybe we should not trust a lot the apps from Cydia and Installer

if the app Aurora Faint from AppStore was removed cause it can steel your contacts and then reapear with the bugfix then what can we expect from apps that aren't from AppStore?

Just wondering Could it be possible?

Nope. There are no malicious applications in Cydia that would do that (to my knowledge) and I have never heard of it happening. Jailbreaking is safe.

The Aurora Faint app was taken down because it used your contacts to see if you had any other friends online. It didn't take any other info. Though it is possible, it's unlikely. It's hard for any app to find out your password, because it isn't on the iPod/iPhone itself. It would still have to "Crack" your password. So no, it can't.

    I don't think so...

On a side note: Could you improve your grammar?
    Steal, not steel
"Does jailbreaking can steel your itunes account?"
    Doesn't make sense...

    This is completely possible.

Just hope and pray that there are no malicious programmers in the Jailbreak community.

Well the appstore isn't any more secure than the community sources (evidenced by Apple's need for a kill switch). As long as you don't add any suspicious sources, you should be fine.

Apple checks the Apps to make sure there isn't malicious code or if it can harm you or steal your information.

How about Jailbreak? What security measures are there? Who checks if an app does this or that or something in the background with your network?

Is there anything to protect you from it? If its doing something, how can you fully stop it?
