I would like to get a wall adapter for my iPod Touch, but does it matter what brand I get, the Apple brand is $30 and the cheap brand is like $5. Will it shorten my battery's life using a non apple accessories? Does it matter if I get the cheap brand over the apple brand?

I don't know the answer but I sometimes use an apple adapter and it works decently.

    Me too!

Anyways, if its USB it should be the same. USB has a standard for power and that sort of stuff.

OT:If anything degrades your battery it will be your USB not the wall adapter,so if your iPod's battery life degrades then bring the USB back to Apple.
