    can i pretend brick my iphone not ipod touch and then take it to the apple store or att store and get it replaced with the new one

    yea im a cheap asshole but i paid 600 now its 300 thats annoying. especially since its better now.

    thats irreversible i think..or would i just get a refurbished iphone.

    Better edit that. JULY 11th is the new iPhone. Not June.

    You would get a refurbished device. Why would they replace an old broken thing with a new Model?

    I doubt they would replace it with a new one, but he may be able to get store credit for it.

    you only get a trade in if you bough after may 27 that is total bull cr*p

    edit: tes im pretty sure it wont work if i unplug it while using ipwn to change the baseband ? correct they cant restore that

    Hmm I wonder what would happen if they let everyone who bought an older gen iPhone come and trade-in theirs in for a 3G iPhone free of charge...

    no they'll give you an old one, but you could sell that one as new or refurbished
