Download the attachment about 3 or 4 post down. I never used a MAC but I'm pretty sure it should work no matter what OS.

Its not a problem with GPsphone, people experience this with VBA and No$gba to.

Anyways just put the file in your VBA folder and viola. Transfer over the save file. If it doesn't work, tell me the version of pokemon your playing+gender+character name and i'll manually send you a fixed save.

Didn't notice the giant Fire Red in my face lol. Don't forget to change it to .ini

Put the vba-over.ini into your Emulator folder on your PC. Open up fire red with the emulator on your PC, save the game internally. Click File-Export-Battery and save it to your Desktop. Ssh into your ipod/phone, change the extension of the file you saved on your desktop to .sav and place in your Gpsphone rom folder.

i only have one more question.
is it possible to do this for a file that i have already started on my ipod touch.

so in other words start from a save from my ipod instead of having to make a new file?
