Seriously, $20 for 4 different pps, plus some squiggily icons, and then the app store (which can have hundreds of free apps), is $9.95? Anyone find that a LITTLE odd?

i figure apple just noticed the huge resentment towards them for charging 20 bucks, so they decided to halve that this go around.

Not really...Apple lowered the price on the iPhone. Why not lower the price on the App Store? Besides that, iPhone users get it free and it wouldn't be fair for them to get it free and us have to pay $20. That is just my opinion and thoughts about it.

Actually, the speculated cost for the App Store on the iPod touch was originally $19.99, although Steve Jobs lowered that to the present $9.95.

Is just down to the fact that if the iphone itself is lowered in price so the Appstore has to be lowered as well..

How does the iPhone being "lowered" have to anything with the price of the App Store? If the iPhone was $6000, the App Store could still be $9.95. If the iPhone was $99, the App Store could still be $9.95.
