Ok, my installer app was corrupt so I upgraded my iPod to 1.1.2 and now it has been restarting for over 20 mins. Is it BRICKED?

Liquid was wrong, Conncect your iPoT to your computer, to do a force restore you hold down home and sleep buttons until the iPoT reboots, when you see the apple logo release the sleep button (top button). You will then see a itunes logo so open iTunes, you will get a message saying "iTunes detected an iPod in recovery mode" so hit restore then your iPoT will work.

this is what you have to do

hold down the power button and the home button together.
wait until screen goes COMPLETELY blank
let go of the power button while still holding down home button.
wait until apple logo pops up to let go of home button.

make sure you are plugged into your computer when you are doing this.

from this point you can restore your ipod/iphone in iTunes w/ w.e firmware you want.
