    Hi:

I would like to know if the new version 1.1.3 solves the problem with 802.1x (WPA-enterprise)

This is very important because much big enterprises, hospitals an Universities needs this standard to work with WI-FI, and itouch and iphone has not implemented yet?

    1.1.4 is not out yet...

But as far as I know, 1.1.3 does not resolve this issue... I'll take a look in Google for ya though.

    Edit:
Well, I'm back with an answer, not even a minute later...

"For those of us who work in big cooperations, hospitals or attend school at university with 802.1x authentication your iPhone sits sadly with no Wifi love. Thats because Apple has yet to release a patch to include this much needed authentication standard." - Yes, this in regards to firmware 1.1.3...

    You're answer:
No. It has not yet been resolved, if ever.

    I'm not too sure...
Maybe they are doing this intentionally for some reason.

    No problem.

    Thanks for your answer

Well, its a very big problem for some of us...I was told about the royalties with 802.1x...

Anyway I suppose that when SDK goes out, it will be any solution

Yea, it is possible that some programmers will make a work around for this issue. I hope so anyway.

Someone will probably make a work around for this issue, however, do expect to have to pay for it, unfortunately....
