after you change the number of dock icons, tap the 'manual reorder' button then just hit your home button.

    1. move everything from /private/var/root/Library/Customize to /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize,
    2. Then do that exact same thing with DockSwap.
    3. Then create symlinks in the /private/var/root/Library/ to /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize and /private/var/mobile/Library/DockSwap
    4. Then, download skylarCE customize fix from Installer.
    5. After you have that, download any set of of Customize Images that have Carrier Images.
    6. Navigate to ~/Library/Customize/CarrierImages/whatEverTheNameOfThePackageYouDownloadedIs and find a matching pair of images.
    7. Rename those Default_CARRIER_IPOD.png and FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png and
    8. paste them into /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/
    9. Next, open up SSH or Terminal and type this: chmod 4755 /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

otherwise costumize wont work or change anything,a fix is coming
