    Hi Everyone.

    I have jailbroken my iPot (thanks dev team) and installed 3rd party applications, and recently I have installed 'Summerboard 2.1.1' - this is where the problems started.

    Now, I have the dock at the top of the home screen.

    I thought it would help to uninstall 'Summerboard', which I have done, but now there is no trace of 'Summerboard' but the dock is still at the top.

    Thanks for reading,

    George.

    George,

    I had the same problem with mine when I installed Summerboard. To fix mine, all I did was uninstall and then give my iPod a hard reset by holding down the Top and Middle buttons simultaneously until the apple logo showed up. Give that a shot!

    Thanks, but that didn't work...I think it might be different as I installed Alpha Summerboard 2.1.1?

    Hmm ok. Do you know how to SSH into your iPot?

    I have deleted all the files which I had to put on for 2.1.1, but there is one I am not sure about. I got these instructions with 2.1.1:

    ********************************
    MANUAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
    ********************************

    Copy the files to your iPhone as follows:

    SummerBoard.framework -> /Library/Frameworks/SummerBoard.framework
    SMBPrefs.app -> /Applications/SMBPrefs.app
    Themes -> /var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes
    com.apple.SpringBoard.plist -> /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist

    But the bit I have bolded I am not so sure about, since it had overwritten the file, I don't know how to reinstate it to the original?

    If you have it, perhaps you could send it to me?

    Thanks a lot, I will download it now, is that an original file that you haven't replaced on your iPot?
