I don't know if this has been suggested yet or anything, but I thought of this idea that might be cool

I was thinking of an app that could move your dock to the left, right, or top of your screen like on macs. Just something handy for themers or just another way to see your iPod.

Don't flame me, please, it's just an idea. It's really pathetic how people have to write don't flame me on all of their posts because some people on this forum like to flame everything.

But anyway, comments on the idea? Agree? Disagree?

how about hiding it and then make it pop up when your finger is near the bottom or side. Like on a mac

well since you don't keep your finger pressed down all the time, I don't see how this would work well, but maybe double tap for it to appear, and double tap to hide...

I can see it now--a landscape dock, with an improved version of coverflow where the dock icons increase when you highlight, but don't flip like albums.

Good idea. It would certainly allow more icons in the dock.

yeah, and also would be very helpful for horizontal themes.
