Okay first, sorry if this is already posted, but I searched and found nothing.

Alright, so I downloaded Unix tools, then downloaded Dock app.. Now I want to know how to get rid of the icons on my home page.

The sunburst works, and I can scroll through my apps, but all of the icons still clutter up my home page. And I was thinking,

    1. It's supposed to get rid of the icons on my homepage, right?

    2. If so, or not, how can I achieve this?

    Thank you.

Sorry for my enlgish, I'm French.

i believe that dock.app just allows you to access your apps using the sunburst at the corner of the ipod. you can't use it to hide the icons on your desktop. it's another app that allows you to do that. not sure which one, though, as i don't use it.

The dock app is basicly just a program launcher. To hide all your icons, use Customize.

Speaking of dock.app, is it possible to customize it so it'll have the programs you actually use listed (instead of all of the programs that are listed in Spring/Summerboard)?

It works if you do it right. No problems for me as of now.

you have to get the hexed version of it which works very well.
