dock and wallpaper ?

    ok i got it down on how to make my own icons and put them onto winterboard so i can turn them on and off when i want, but if i want to make my own wallpaper and dock where do i put it, i tried doing it like i do with the icons but they dont show up(they do show up in the winterboard menu on my ipod) i tried respring and stil nothing what am i doing wrong...thanks.

    wallpaper should be called Wallpaper.png and place in the themename.theme folder and the dock aswell as Dock.png so both of them in the root folder themename.theme

    thats what i did.Wallpaper.theme-Icon-Wallpaper.png..... i go to root-var-stash-themes-then make all of it, just like im changeing an mail icon or weather ...

    i don't get what you mean, if you want to change the wallpaper it has to be called Wallpaper.png not Wallpaper.theme-Icon-Wallpaper.png <- don't have a cluw what that's ment to be i've never seen that before

    those are the steps that i took to get the image in winterboard...root-var-stash-themes-then i made a Wallpaper theme folder, opened it then made an Icon folder, opened it then put the image in there called Wallpaper.png..hope that helps

    oh sorry bit tired, i read it as a file name >< don't put wallpaper.png in icon folder put it in wallpaper theme folder so contents would be

    wallpaper.theme -> Icons
    ->Wallpaper.png

    oh so i dont want to make an icons folder ill have try that....thanks guys

    well it didnt work for the dock theme and the wallpaper worked only as a jpeg and not as a png...i went var-stash-themes.xxxx-made a theme called My Dock- then put in the Dock png.... it showed up in winterboard but when checked nothing changed

    Just have the thingys like this:

    in your themes folder
    >Theme folder name
    -->Wallpaper.png
    -->Dock.png

    ~
    •Make sure the files have .png on them in lowercase caps
    •The .theme extension is not required to the theme's folder
    •Put the theme at the VERY TOP in winterboard

    If that doesn't work than I honestly don't see what you have done wrong.

    #Sorry if there are any errors, Im on my iPod and entering BB (forum) code is so tedius on the iPod, clicking the 'quote' button is a task itself.#
