Do you think companies like gameloft will stop developing for iPhone and go for just ipad?
You're just going on thread-making mode right now, aren't you?
No, they won't give up a market that's includes 250 000 000 consumers.
Nope, I doubt it. Big developers like Gameloft will probably have people working on apps for both devices.
not really this is just my second thread today.
I think they will develop for both, but might include special extras for the iPad. Just think about it - their games help drive sales of the devices, so they have to support both devices in order to gain the most profits. Of course, I'm not exactly sure how iPad apps work but I would think that the devs just spend a little extra time on their apps to fully support iPad. So, no, they won't, but they will definitely look further into the iPad because they get a greater user base and their apps will look and feel better on both devices.
I just really don't want the iPhone to become like any other phone
Not by a long shot. The new SDK allows for exciting apps to rescaled for the iPad.
Its a phone. Not the bible (technically speaking).
No, we'll be seeing apps made for both. I don't think we'll see much (if any) decrease on app production on the iPhone. Maybe a little bit for apps that really belonged on a larger device to begin with.
