    What do you think?
    I think it's going to get harder and harder to jailbreak, but I don't think it will ever be completely impossible to jailbreak. Are there people that work at Apple solely to fight jailbreaking? Or is that just a kinda 'on-the-side' thing? Just wondering what everyone else thinks...

    I dont think they ever will beat it because there always will be a former firmware you can jailbreak with

    If you're jailbroken, you will be able to stay jailbroken regardless of new firmware updates. Its a 'once you get your foot in the door, you're safe' kinda things.

    As for new devices, who knows what apple has up their sleeves, the dev team and geohot wont give up until its done though

    It's impossible to come up with a software that is in fact "not hackable" You should know this if you go back to 1.0.1 or whatever it was lol or for my personal fav.

    FW:1.1.1

    I don't think they will; for one simple reason;
    Nothing (and I mean nothing) is unhackable.Somewhere somehow there will be a way and especially with such a popular device it will happen quickly.

    Oh and 1.1.1 - Legendary Jailbreak. I remember opening my iPod for the first time and navigating straight to that site.

    Although the dev teams have managed a jailbreak for every different firmware on every different device since back in Sep of 2007, you never really know. Mac's /are/ virus free... the iPod touch or iPhone may become jailbreak free some day..

    They can't, plus, they owe a lot of their profit to jailbreaking. Jailbreaking expands their devices capabilities. I know that when I knew about jailbreaking before I got my iPod it made me all the more excited. I said if I get it, I get it, but once I heard about jailbreaking I was I gotta....get.....that....iPOD!!!!
