I have a ton of apps on my touch but honestly I never use them. I have apps that I have only opened up once, they are sort of a waste of space but I can't delete them because I always say to myself someday I will regret this, haha.

What I do to avoid that is to have a limited number of apps on my phone, all the time.
I have 5 pages, each with 8 apps. Apps, Web, Media, Games, System. And 5 apps in the dock, iPod, Mail, SMS, Phone and BossPrefs.
If I want to put a new app in, I delete one in that category.
Apps that I rarely use are "poofed", so they don't sit in my SpringBoard, but when I do need them, I can use AppFlow to launch them.

My SpringBoard looks pretty clean, and with a limited number of apps, I can get all the icons I need for all my apps.

Considering I only have 2 pages, no categories and a stack, yes in fact, I do. Simplicity is key my friends, simplicity is key.
