put an invisible shield on. imo, its the only scratch protection that wont scratch your ipod.

im really thinking of that but my friend said to me one time that " if the invisible shieldprotects the ipod, who will protect the invisible shield?.. something like that

in your experience...do you have some dust accumulating around the edges of the ipod?? because the invisible shieldof my psp has some dust accumulating on it.. and its frustrating that the protector is unprotected also

the protector simply doesn't get scratched. i have a bestskinsever on mine and it was fine, absolutely no scratches after like 8 months of abuse, until i tried to clean it with a q-tip, which finally scratched it. dust gets under the edges, but im really a perfectionist and i dont think its that bad. it doesnt bother me. the scratches pissed me off, but i was getting an iphone in like a month so i never replaced it.

And, you probably can put a silicone case over a invisible shield to protect from drops.

I'd never recommend a silicon case because they stretch, get dirty, and get huge rubber marks.

I use a leather sleeve for mine, it's not scratched at all (even on the back) and it doesn't look dorky

not true. those are the cheap, disgusting kind.

invest in maybe a Speck PixelSkin or a Incipio Tribal and you will not experience the bad things.

i have the pixelskin and let me tell you those things do not stretch whatsoever! and the colored ones do not attract dust. the white and black tend to attract some, but the colored ones work wonders!

i dont have a Tribal, but i have only heard good things about it.

I don't like that they stretch to a point where they become flubber! :O
