Do you have to top-up monthly?

    I was checking the o2 website for iphones on pay as you go, and it says that you HAVE to top up at least a tenner a month, is this true? what if you dont?

    That's how it works with just about all pay as you go plans. Usually it just automatically withdraws from your card. If you refuse payment, then it would be treated as a termination.

    Where abouts does it say you have to top up £10 a month, unless you are referring to where it says you need to top up £10 a month to get free texts/min or whatever. In this case if you don't top up you just don't get the free stuff.

    well my friend said at the start of a month if he hasnt topped up on his iphone, he cant use the internet and it comes up with a message telling him to top up, plus i gathered from the o2 website that you have to choose a monthly tariff

    Ahh, in that case I guess you have to top up then.

    if you get payg you get 12 months unlimited data usage. After that its £10 a month for unlimited internet.
