do you get banned from xbox live for modding an ORIGINAL xbox?
you mean the first xbox? i have mine chipped and it stops me connecting but i have a switch to turn the chip off so i can go online
Not sure, but I believe as long as you don't use pirated games you should be okay ... All I've done with mine is the Xbox Media Center hack though, so I can't really say much about it.
What are you going to be doing on live? There are certain ways to make it undetectable. My xbox is set up to be live safe when I boot it with the eject button, but when I boot it with the power button it's normal.
They never banned mine, but I softmodded. If I remember right it was setup so with a retail disc, the softmod wasn't detectable. I can't remember for sure. Been a long time since I had a Live account. The old XBOX is still kicking though, use it mainly as a media center and with XBMC on it it works great. When I get the urge to use it for online gaming I just connect to Xlink Kai.
i was thinking softmod, i was buying one off of craigslist. what exactly do i have to do to make it undetectable?
i was gonna play some games online, etc. i wanted to play emulators and stuff. and install xbox linux.
You can softmod it yourself then make it undetectable Krazy's softmod.
so there will be absolutly no chance, no matter what i do, that it will be detected?
If you boot it the right way you will not be banned.
How can I do it?
Does this works?
