    Hello everyone,

I have a rubber Belkin Brand case. It seems that my WiFi isn't usually that great, but one day I took the case off and it started working fine. Is this a fluke or does a full rubber case actually affect it? I think the case might have been made for the 1G Touch, because there aren't any openings for the light sensor thing and the volume buttons. Thanks for the help!

Well it would act as an obstruction between the antenna and your router, so it's a possibility.

Ya, I remember a thread where a kid tested his Internet with and without the case, and the case did have effects.

But that's when it's being pumped out of a mains powered router, we're talking about a tiny WiFi chip inside an iPod here.....with a case right next to it.
