    I hope this isn't true- it seems the OS 4.0 betas are getting progressively worse.

    b1-was great, at least for me.
    b2-meh...too many bugs.
    b3-not even going to try it.

    It's called beta for a reason guys. As Apple have said, this should only be used on a device that is purposely only used for development.

    yeah agreed but even developers expect SOME sort of stablity, its beta not alpha, it shouldnt pose the risk of physicly destroying your device..

    The iPhone firmware is fine. It's a problem with the xcode install on the SDK
