I don't have an iTouch yet and before I get one I wanted to know if the iTouch supports these features:

1- Can the mp3 player play any drm free mp3 files?
2- Do the mp3 and video players have bookmark features where I can resume playing from where I stopped? And that's where each file can have its own bookmark so that I can resume any file on demand?

3- do I have to use iTunes to transfer files or can third party transfer utilities be used?

    1) Yes.
    2) No.
    3) If you jailbreak, yes, but it's considerably less organized.

Isn't #2 a yes? Videos continue to play where they stopped at if you have it enabled in settings, and songs do too.

Well for the first ones, depends what formats you are talking about... It can't play WMA, OGG, APE and FLAC (But it can play ALAC)

Are there other players in the App Store or is one stuck with the ones from Apple?
