    hi,

i've read that turning off location services saves power, but it requires wifi to work. so if i just turn off wifi, does that automatically prevent location services from draining my battery?

or do i have to turn off both location services and wifi to get the most out of my battery life?

    anyone have an idea? thanks.

Location services won't drain your battery. All it does is use your router's MAC address to triangulate your location. The whole process takes about 2 seconds.
