Do I need this?

    I see I have this OpenSSL when I click manage in Cydia. It looks like it takes up a lot of disk space so I was thinking about deleting it. It said that it could be dangerous so I didn't. Do I really need it?

    It got installed when i installed openssh so i would say yes you need it

    if it installs with something that you need, then you need it. dont delete it. thats why cydia took over installer. its called dependencies. if an app needs an addon, then it will install it w/o you having to know to install it. its very n00b friendly.
