I've been watching tutorials and such, and I'd love to start developing apps of my own.

When some of the most popular apps from the appstore involve chasing a dot around the screen, or throwing a virtual piece of paper into a virtual trashcan, it really can't be that hard.

However, currently I have a windows notebook. Do I need Mac OSX to build apps?

    Not necessarily......

You can make them on Windows machine with Saurik's tools.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.
