I am having problems with my jailbreak as it hangs on the boot logo at the end. 2.2.1. I have tried everything and my only solution left is that I may have top erase all apps. I would prefer not to as I have saves on my apps so do I HAVE to??

Also, would it work if I tried on a different computer?

You'd have to put your iPod into recovery mode. Then jailbreak. You can use a program, I forgot what it's called, but it'll save all of your songs, video, apps, etc. Search for it.

You can keep all of your apps if you don't restore. Just stick it in recovery mode, then if not, try a different computer.
