Do I get the app pack for free?

    I bought my iTouch on December 30th. Do I still need to pay for them on itunes?

    It should be free for you. You have to update to 1.1.3 to get the app pack.
    The rest of the people who bought it before December 27 have to pay $20 for it.

    No, just plug your iPod into iTunes(Make sure it's version 7.6) and click "Check For Update" it should say an upgrade for 1.1.3 is available, click "Ok".

    from what i've red, EVERYONE has to pay for the app pack... its like getting leather seats in the car... its optional, and with a fee

    This makes no sense. Sure it'll upgrade but what about the app pack? will you get the 5 apps or do u still have to 20$?

    apple stated that anyone who bought there ipod on the 27th of dec or after gets the apps for free

    through apple support or itunes i'm not sure

    Simply put, everyone here is WRONG.

    You HAVE to pay for the software apps unless you purchased your iPod Touch at Apple.com or an Apple Store. NO WHERE ELSE IS APPLICABLE. I've called Apple twice getting the same answer.
