If I send my phone to Apple for repairs, will they send me back the exact same phone? Or are they going to send me some random refurbished one?

The reason I ask is because I've kept my phone in very good shape (had it in a zagg invisible shield since day one) and I'd really hate to get some scratched up phone back.

they might send a refurbed one depending on what the repair was...

but they replace the screen, back, and battery on the refurbed ones

sweet. Out of curiosity, would they replace those things if they do send me back my phone? (mostly curious about battery, though I haven't started having problems with it yet)

you wont get your phone back, 100%. youll get a refurb. however on all refurbs they replace the case, screen, battery, and buttons so it looks like new.

I just found out that iphones are not eligible for mail in repairs, and there are no apple stores anywhere near me...

    Any alternatives?
